Dr. Nancy Witherspoon is a board-certified family medicine physician at Jefferson Family Physicians in Dandridge, Tennessee and joined Healthstar Physicians in December 2010.
She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. Witherspoon’s clinical interests include geriatrics and research. She enjoys serving the community and building lasting relationships with her patients through family medicine.
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Victoria Hale is passionate about Family Medicine and serving the Lakeway Community. She grew up in the Lakeway area and loves the community. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee and East Tennessee State University. After earning her medical degree from Medical University of the Americas, she moved to Kentucky for the University of Kentucky East Kentucky Family Medicine Residency Program.
Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Alicia Roberts, PA-C, earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lincoln Memorial University in 2025 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
During her physician assistant training, Alicia completed clinical rotations in family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, dermatology, orthopedics, and behavioral medicine. Prior to PA school, she worked for two years as a lead medical assistant in a dermatology practice.
Alicia enjoys family medicine because it allows her to build meaningful relationships with patients while providing personalized care throughout every stage of life. Her professional interests include preventive medicine and helping patients maintain their overall health and well-being, along with dermatology.
She is an NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant and is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Alicia enjoys reading, traveling, kayaking, spending time outdoors, and being with family and friends.
Kaitlyn Mitchell, PA-C, earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2025 after completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Tennessee. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, she brings a passion for preventive care and patient-centered family medicine to the practice.
During her physician assistant training, Kaitlyn completed surgical-focused clinical rotations in family medicine, orthopedic trauma surgery, general surgery, women’s health, emergency medicine, pediatrics, hospital medicine, behavioral medicine, and dermatology.
Kaitlyn values the relationships built through family medicine and enjoys helping guide patients and families through every stage of life. Her professional interests include preventive medicine, wellness, chronic disease management, and primary care across the lifespan.
She is an NCCPA Board Certified Physician Assistant and also holds Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Kaitlyn is a member of the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of medicine, Kaitlyn enjoys traveling, lake and pool days, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
Paul Rice, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Healthstar Physicians’ Jefferson Family Physicians office. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, he joined Healthstar in June 2018 and provides care for patients of all ages.
He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Carson-Newman University and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from King University.
Paul has experience providing comprehensive care across the full spectrum of patients and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. He is board certified through the ANCC and is also a certified DOT medical examiner.
He takes pride in offering a compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to improving health outcomes for those he serves.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys kayaking, hiking, and spending time with his family.
Kendal Holbrook, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Healthstar Physicians’ Jefferson Family Physicians office. A native of Rutledge, Tennessee, she joined Healthstar in December 2021 and brings experience in both pediatric and primary care settings.
She earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Carson-Newman University in 2021 after completing her undergraduate nursing degree there in 2018. She is also a certified DOT medical examiner.
Kendal has five years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Healthstar and previously worked as a registered nurse at Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital, where she cared for pediatric patients for four years. She has a strong clinical interest in pediatrics and is passionate about caring for patients of all ages.
She finds fulfillment in being a patient advocate and providing patient-centered care for individuals and families in her community.
Outside of work, Kendal enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Isaac Blair, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Jefferson Family Physicians in Dandridge, TN.
